Shortcut’s reasoning.

The HOKA, UGG and other-brand build forecasts $1.50bn in revenue and normalized diluted EPS of $1.81 versus the Street’s $1.79. Normalized and GAAP EPS coincide under the model’s assumptions.

The model retains its original margins, tax and share assumptions. Cash flow is simplified and organic/FX detail is unavailable; the guidance revenue reference was corrected without changing EPS.

On the record.

Reporting basis
Normalized diluted EPS per common share, USD (CapIQ basis). Deckers reports GAAP only; normalized = GAAP diluted (no adjustments).

Model assumptions and review notes
  • Brand/channel sales growth, gross margins, buyback price/timing and interest are original forecast assumptions. No normalization adjustments are forecast, so normalized and GAAP diluted EPS coincide.
  • Cash flow is a simplified low-precision scenario with assumed D&A/SBC and zero movements on many balance-sheet lines. Buyback excise and par transfers are not fully modeled; these tracked lines do not validate the EPS forecast.
  • Organic growth is unavailable without an explicit FX assumption. A historical interest residual and several source/header presentation limits remain; the guidance revenue comparison reference was corrected without changing the forecast.
  • The independent renderer misreads a numeric-pair-count array and therefore its calibration memo. Six actual valid strict-beat pairs, the stored .874285714 starting probability and original final probability were independently verified; these memo differences do not affect EPS.
